John Constable was born on the 11th of June, 1776, in East Bergholt, Suffolk. He was a corn merchant and later in 1793 he started training as a miller for his father's business.

At 20 years old, Constable had already met numerous artists. In 1799 he got his parents permission to study at the Royal Academy Schools in London.

In 1822, he exhibited his work and refused a appointment as military drawing master at the Royal Military Academy. He was fully comitted to his work as an artist.

Reproduction Paintings Service

We offer a full commissions service, which allows you to commission a very highly skilled artist to recreate the painting of your choice.

Our paintings are finished to a very high standard, they are not "mass produced" as per the ones so many web sites you will find on the internet will try to sell you.

  • How good are our oil paintings? The simple answer is very.
  • Many dealers might offer to supply the reproduction you are looking for, but can they compete with our quality?  Many claim to offer "Museum quality" but supply inferior quality, with painting rushed to meet tight timescales.
  • We are different and absolutely focused on your requirements
