Corona Virus - Service update

Barton Galleries is currently open for business ---

We’re a small family run business and extend our family values to our entire team, many of whom have been with us for years. The health and wellbeing of our team is of the upmost importance to us and we’re following the Government’s advice and guidelines in relation to the Coronavirus.

Whilst we realise that painting reproductions are not the most essential purchases during these unprecedented times, we are mindful to carry on in a reduced, appropriate and safe capacity to protect the welfare of our artists and other workers if we can; while for our customers, we hope to provide uplifting and pleasing excursions into the emotional solace that the world of art offers, and the opportunity of patronage to our skilled and dedicated artists.

We have introduced the following measures:

  • Most of our staff are working from home, including the commissions manager who is available to discuss your project and advise and guide you on all aspects of our service, including framing.

Email: commissions@bartongalleries.com or phone +44 (0) 7896 762 813

  • where we have staff in a shared building, such as our framing workshop, we’ve created a new rota so that there are as few staff as possible in the building at any one time. The packing desks and work benches are spread throughout the building so that staff are not working in close contact with each other and staff have been advised to wash their hands before starting work, before and after their breaks and before leaving at the end of their shift.
  • we are using mainstream delivery networks that continue to operate for other services such as Parcelforce and Royal Mail

Understandably, we are not currently able to give guarantees on completion dates, particularly if projects include stretching and framing. But while we are able to, and while our supply chain continues to operate, we will do our best to provide our usual excellent levels of quality in a timely and professional manner. This status may alter at any time as we follow HM Government and Public Health England guidelines and observe immediate and unplanned changes. We will keep you updated if our status changes through articles similar to this one.

We remain committed to exceptional customer service and with many of us spending a lot more time at home in the upcoming months, we will be happy to help you decorate your home with beautiful and fulfilling paintings and prints, handsomely presented in frames that suit and enhance your artwork and your home.

Stay safe and well and please continue to follow the government advice at all time: Stay home, stay safe and protect our NHS.

Best wishes,
