Portrait of Sarah Rodbard after George Romney, 47.2" x 29.5" unframed, £462 - SOLD

George Romney was an extremely fashionable English portrait painter in the 1700s. This portrait of a title-less English woman (Sarah Rodbard) is a great example of how he masters the field of light.

This is a fantastic reproduction which has a few minor adjustments from the original, including more detail in the leaf canopy and some subtle colour changes in the dress. The original hangs in the Lady Lever Art Gallery, Liverpool.

Our reproduction is about 50% of the original size at 47.2" x 29.5" (120 x 75 cm)

It is currently unstretched and unframed and priced at just £462 - a 40% reduction on our list price.

This painting can be shipped free of charge to any UK mainland address. Please inquire for overseas shipping charges.

We would be very happy to provide an additional stretching and framing service: please inquire if you are interested in this.
